About Mila's Dog Care

Providing Dog Care in Whitley Bay, Monkseaton & Cullercoats

I’m Toni, the person behind Mila’s Dog Care, which I founded in 2025 in Whitley Bay. The business is named after my own dog, Mila, who has been a major inspiration in my decision to become a professional dog carer.

I have been surrounded by dogs all my life, from childhood through to adulthood. I also spent five years living on a farm in Santander, northern Spain, where we fostered hundreds of dogs while they waited to be rehomed. Alongside this, I have extensive experience working as a Special Educational Needs teacher, a role that strengthened my skills in patience, structure, observation, and calm, supportive guidance. Combined with life with Mila, these experiences have shaped my approach to dog care and are skills I now bring into my work as a professional dog carer—helping dogs feel happy, content and fulfilled.

I provide dog walking and home visits across Whitley Bay and nearby North Tyneside areas, with a focus on calm, consistent, and caring support. Every walk and visit follows your instructions closely and is delivered with a safety-first approach. Services include solo walks, small group walks with carefully matched dogs, and home visits for feeding, toilet breaks, puppy drop-ins, and companionship.

I am fully insured, DBS-checked, and work in line with the Professional Dog Walkers’ Guidelines, ensuring dogs are handled responsibly, safely, and with respect at all times. Clear updates are provided after every walk or visit, so you always know how your dog is doing. Mila’s Dog Care is built on trust, reliability, and delivering the same high standard of care every time.

Meet Mila

Mila is my Cockapoo and the heart behind Mila’s Dog Care—bright, sociable, and full of affection. She came into my life by chance, and it was one of those moments where you just know: we fell for each other instantly. At home she’s happiest with a toy in her mouth (and usually another one nearby), and she’s famously food-motivated, which makes her quick to learn and always up for a little challenge. But her favourite place of all is the seaside—new smells, open space, and plenty to explore—where she’s at her most content and most herself.
